Sparkles with Military

A week or two ago I stumbled upon cute Ashley from The Cream To My Coffee.
She was wearing this military vest... I totally have one of those!  I love how she wore it over her dress, totally going to have to do that, but this time I went for pants.

I started with my vest, then looked through my pants, hey, I haven't worn these pants yet... do you have those in your closet?  I bought them this past spring!  Hmmmm.
They have a little sparkle in them... love!

I think this is still an appropriate fall look, even though they are peach pants.  And the peach goes well with the olive green.

I am loving this necklace this year.  I made it this spring.

Who could say no to sparkle shoes?  These are Banana Republic via Marshalls... score!

Olive and Gold

The days are turning colder now.
We have had such a great run of summer-like days this fall.  I have loved it.
This was my only 'summer skirt' that I didn't put away.
This works nice for fall too, if it's warm.  I got one last wear in before I boxed it up.
I wish I'd have photo'd the back of this shirt, it's pretty and lacey.
It's a nice after thought... and gives people something to look at as you walk away right?

I'm so into this little necklace this year.  I made it this spring.
These linen and gold shoes were a great match for this look.
And, I'm sort of into this red-ish eyeshadow.  What do you think?
It's easy, but people still tell me I look fancy when I wear stuff like this... mostly the little girls on the street, they are people right?

It's Friday!  Yea!  I've been so busy with photography this week.  I have mountains to edit this weekend.  I think I'll get my long run in today so I can enjoy my Saturday!  What are you doing?

Ruffles, ruffles everywhere

Never underestimate the comfort of a shirt dress and leggings.
We know I'm a stay at home mom, and when I'm home I like to be comfy... but when I go out I want to look cute.  This look has both!

AND it's plaid!  How are you wearing your plaid right now?

I think this look is better with the olive jacket.
Too many ruffles... nah, never!
A little leather belt adds some shape and it has been warm here... haven't even worn boots all that much!  I'm glad, I have plenty of cute flats that need some wear time!
